Day Three and the freak goes on!

Alright, so today we are going to be looking at a movie, that had a huge impact on me as a child. It was also one of those movies, I look back on and go,"Really!?!? I was allowed to watch this by myself?" A fun bonus for me is watching my mom try and justify the shit she let me watch. Apparently traumatizing movie week is not only good for me but for her as well, good to know!

One Lump or Two!

Ok kids in case you didn't know; this journal is not just for me to whine about my life. There are also times when I will bring you some little gem that I found on the interwebs. Today's little gem comes in the form of, "Two Lumps: The Adventure of Ebenezer and Snooch".

Two Lumps is a web comic created by James Grant and Mel Hynes. It's about the adventures of two Russian Blue cats and their conquest of the world. It's generally one shot work mixed with story arces and runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I firmly recomend this to both cat owners and those who are looking for just a good laugh.

Here is the address for the site...

Like I said very much worth going to visit!

An interesting observation...

So I was out with April this morning, and I saw this old gentleman who about eighty, so he gets into his truck, and is setting there for a moment when, I swear to the hevens, "Jimmy Crack Corn" was suddenly heard from his butt! I was so startled it took me a moment before my properly beat in southern manners took over and stopped staring in disbelief, but before I could snapp my head forward, out of his saggy old man britches, he pulls, a cell phone. This led me to think, when I was a young lass, I remember that my grandprents would complain and shun about the newfangled ways of youth ( which was a good thing cause as a child of the eighties I would have been traumatized if my grandfather embraced spandex). Today it seems the older generation is learning to adapt. Whether it's cause the older generation ised to be yesteryears yuppies, or simply because in todays society your either with the times or your crushed under. I do know that with this generations geriatrics, we see them trying there best to stay young and with the times. Is it because we live in an excited world, or is it because with this generations callous veiw on life growing old is a scary thing. I really wanna know. That way, I can know who to yell at when the ninety year old gramma who can't see over the steering wheel smashes into my side cause she recieved a totally wicked text from her BFF.

Greetings and Salutations!

Well hello there! My name is Ein, and I am the owner of this little nook in  the web; I am an artist by trade, not starving simply because I live with my parents. It's Easter Sunday of 2010, and I am 25 years old. I'm in love with a wonderful young lady whose name is April, and she is 22 years old. That's right folks, I'm a lesbien; I figure you should know this up front, Dear Readers. We have been together for going on two years now, and I think she might be the one. It's been a  long hard road for us to get where we are at right now. We are tentatively looking at two years till marriage. We both want to get out of our parents house, and into our own little place. I have two best friends, Padfoot and Jen, both of whom want to move down here. Padfoot more than Jen, methinks, but I chalk Jen's allot up to being scared; which is cool, but at some point you got to just stop being afraid. Wow I give myself very good advice yo!

Anyways, what can I tell you about why this journal is here? It's here for those people who give a damn about my opinion, who like my art, want to discuss whatever's relevant, you get the point...it's like everyother journal on here, lol. Ok, another thing, The mood Icons and all the icons you see, save for this one, are ones I made, please don't snick them unless you credit me and then rehost them, I use photobucket for everything and don't want my bandwidth used up! *noms on Journal* so anyways, that's pretty much it. I'll try to update regularly on here, and some times it maybe a rant, and sometimes it may be an artical, or a link that I find interesting. So yeah, feel free to stick around, I make a mean caserole, and awesome sun brewed tea, oh and in case you can't tell I'm from the southern portion of the USA. Anywhoo, talk to you all later thanks and have a good day!
